She went to Coorg Public School in Kodagu for her schooling and later graduated from M. S. Ramaiah College in India, with a degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature.

Since she was young, Rashmika dreamt of becoming an actress. She started working towards this dream during her college days by featuring in various advertisements. In 2014, she took part in the Clean & Clear Times Fresh Face of India competition and won the award in 2015.

Career

In 2016, Rashmika started her acting journey with the Kannada film ‘Kirik Party,’ making a splash in the industry. It became one of the top-grossing films that year in Kannada.
