Career

In 2007, Charan debuted as the lead actor in “Chirutha,” directed by Puri Jagannadh. He played the role of Charan, an ex-convict seeking revenge for his father’s murder. The film received praise for Charan’s performance, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South and the Nandi Special Jury Award.

His next significant role came in the fantasy film “Magadheera” (2009), directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Charan played dual roles and received critical acclaim for his performance. The film became a major commercial success, grossing over ₹150 crores worldwide.

In 2010, Charan starred in “Orange,” an urban romance directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Though the film didn’t fare well at the box office, Charan’s performance was praised, and the movie gained a cult following over time.
