Career
In August 2004, Sana Amin Sheikh began her career as a radio jockey at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. She later worked at Ishq 104.8FM before joining Mirchi Love as an RJ. Throughout her radio career, she hosted several shows, including “Khoobsurat, Sana Ke Saath” and “TRP – Television Radio Par.” Additionally, she has worked as an RJ for Mirchi 90s.
Sana’s acting career started in 1994 when she appeared as a child actor in the Hindi TV series “Junoon,” playing the role of Vaishali. This series aired on Doordarshan. The following year, she played the role of Savi as a child actor in the Zee TV serial “Hasratein.”
As a young actor, she made her debut in 2009 with the Disney Channel’s TV series “Kya Mast Hai Life,” portraying the character Rithu Shah. She subsequently appeared in various Hindi TV serials such as “Mera Naam Karegi Roshan” (2010; Zee TV), “Gustakh Dil” (2013; Life OK), “Krishnadasi” (2016; Colors TV), “Laal Ishq” (2018; &TV), and “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3” (2021; Sony).
Sana made her Bollywood debut in 2011 with the film “Singham,” playing the role of Anjali Bhosle. She went on to act in other Hindi films, including “Table No. 21” (2013), “Island City” (2015), “Bamfaad” (2020; Zee5), and “Main Mulayam Singh Yadav” (2021). In 2023, she made her web series debut in the SonyLIV series “Scam 2003: The Telgi Story,” where she portrayed Nafisa Telgi.
In addition to her work in radio, television, and film, Sana appeared as a guest in the Colors TV comedy shows “Comedy Nights Live” and “Comedy Nights Bachao” in 2016. That same year, she worked as a writer for the Hindi short video “Akta (The Team).” Sana has also been featured in TV commercials for various brands like Clinic Plus.
