During the 1980s and 90s, Ashok Saraf, alongside Laxmikant Berde, was revered as one of the foremost Marathi comedy superstars, significantly influencing the genre with films like “Ashi Hi Banava Banavi,” “Aayatya Gharat Gharoba,” and “Dhum Dhadaka.” In Bollywood, Ashok Saraf made his mark with notable roles in films such as “Singham,” “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya,” “Gupt,” “Koyla,” “Yes Boss,” and “Karan Arjun.”
