Early Life

Aly Goni was born on February 25, 1991, in Bhaderwah, Jammu & Kashmir. He comes from a middle-class Muslim family and is the son of Ruby Goni and Amjad Goni. Growing up, he had three siblings – a brother named Arslan Goni and two sisters.

Aly has had a love for acting from a young age. He enjoyed taking part in various school programs, and his family provided support throughout his journey.

Career

Aly started his career while he was still in college. He took part in a modeling event organized by IFTI (Indian Film and Television Institute) and received a reward. This opportunity led him to join the team of MTV Splitsvilla 5.

In 2013, he began acting in Yeh Hain Mohabbatein, playing the character Romi Bhalla until December 2019. His popularity soared, gaining immense support from fans.

Some of his notable shows include Kuch To Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan (2016) and Dil Hi To Hai (2018). Aly also entered the world of web series, making his debut as Surya Sethi in ZEE5’s Jeet Ki Zeed (2021).
