Career
Arbaaz Khan began his career in the film industry in 1996 with a villainous role in the movie “Daraar”. He received recognition for his performance and won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Over the years, he appeared in several successful films like “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” and “Garv: Pride and Honour”.
In 2003, he played a negative role in “Qayamat: City Under Threat”, which did well at the box office. He also took on supporting roles in comedy films like “Hulchul”, “Malamaal Weekly”, and “Bhagam Bhag”. Additionally, he appeared in multi-starrers like “Shootout at Lokhandwala” and “Fool and Final”. Arbaaz made a cameo appearance in the popular film “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na” alongside his brother Sohail Khan. He ventured into television with the serial “Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny” in 2003.
In 2010, Arbaaz started his journey as a film producer with Arbaaz Khan Productions. His first production, “Dabangg”, starring his brother Salman Khan, became a huge success. The film broke box office records and featured a popular item number “Munni Badnaam” featuring his former wife Malaika Arora Khan. He made his directorial debut with the sequel “Dabangg 2” in 2012. Arbaaz also expanded his acting career by appearing in the Malayalam film “Big Brother” alongside Mohanlal.
