Surbhi Chandna kicked off her television journey with a short appearance in the well-loved show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” in 2009 alongside Disha Vakani, Amit Bhatt, Shailesh Lodha, Munmun Dutta, Neha Mehta, Mandar Chandwadkar, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, Kavi Kumar Azad, Bhavya Gandhi, Nidhi Bhanushali, Jheel Mehta, Raj Anadkat, Tanuj Mahashabde, Gurucharan Singh, Sonalika Joshi, Priya Ahuja, Monika Bhadoriya, Kush Shah, Shyam Pathak, Sunayana Fozdar, Samay Shah, Ambika Ranjankar & Palak Sindhwani.
After a hiatus of four years, she took on the character of Suzanne in the Star Plus series “Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi.” Following this, in 2014, Surbhi made her mark in Bollywood, playing Aamna Khan in the film “Bobby Jasoos.”
From 2014 to 2015, Surbhi portrayed Haya Qureshi Ansari, a character who is deaf and mute, in the television series “Qubool Hai.” Simultaneously, she made a guest appearance as Sia in an episode of “Aahat.”
Her breakthrough came in the years 2016 to 2018 when she played Anika Trivedi Singh Oberoi in the immensely popular show “Ishqbaaaz” alongside Nakuul Mehta. Surbhi’s portrayal of Anika earned her several accolades, including the ITA Award for Best Actress – Popular, and her on-screen chemistry with Nakuul Mehta won them the Gold Best Onscreen Jodi award. In 2017, she reprised the role of Anika in the spin-off series “Dil Boley Oberoi.”
Transitioning from one successful venture to another, Surbhi took on the character of Dr. Ishani Arora Mathur in the 2019-2020 reboot of the series “Sanjivani.” In the subsequent years, Surbhi ventured into the supernatural genre, playing Bani Sharma Singhania, a shape-shifting serpent, in “Naagin” from 2020 to 2021, alongside Sharad Malhotra. Her compelling performance in “Naagin” earned her another ITA Award for Best Actress – Popular.
Expanding her horizons, Surbhi made her debut in music videos in 2021, featuring in “Bepanah Pyaar” and “Bepanah Ishq” alongside Sharad Malhotra. In 2022, she added hosting to her repertoire, taking on the role of a host on “Hunarbaaz” and later appearing in the music video “Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar” with Arjun Bijlani.
Continuing her diverse acting journey, Surbhi played the character of Manmeet Shergill Yadav, a single mother, in the series “Sherdil Shergill” from 2022 to 2023, opposite Dheeraj Dhoopar.
In 2024, Surbhi made her debut in the digital space with “Rakshak – India’s Braves: Chapter 2,” portraying the character of Alka Singh alongside Barun Sobti, Vishwas Kini, Surbhi Chandna, Aayaam Mehta, Rajat Kaul, Seerat Mast, Amit Gaur, Sachin Khurana, Sahib Verma, Ashmita Bakshi
