Early Life
Nigam grew up in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with an older brother named Abhishek Nigam. Their mother is involved in running an NGO and a beauty parlour. He completed his tenth-grade studies at Khelgaon Public School, where he focused on gymnastics. At the 58th National School Games in Pune, Nigam achieved a gold medal in parallel bars and a silver medal in high bars.
Later, he moved from Allahabad to Mumbai for new opportunities. In 2021, Nigam began pursuing a degree at Thakur College in Kandivali, Mumbai. Apart from his studies and achievements, Nigam is a proud owner of two houses in Mumbai.
Career
Siddharth Nigam stepped into the world of acting in 2011 through a Bournvita advertisement. His captivating performance caught the attention of the makers of the film Dhoom 3, leading to an audition for the role of Young Sahir/Samar. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie hit the screens on 20 December 2013, earning praise from critics like Taran Adarsh and Suhani Singh for Nigam’s superb talent and charming presence.
Following his successful film debut, Siddharth made his television debut in 2014, portraying the role of Young Rudra in the mythological drama series Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani, which aired on Life OK.
In February 2015, Nigam took on the lead role of Young Ashoka in the historical drama series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. He also made a guest appearance on Comedy Nights with Kapil in a special Mahashivratri episode on 15 February 2015.
The year 2016 saw him as a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 and later portraying Young Shivaji in Peshwa Bajirao. In 2017, Siddharth portrayed Bindusara, the son of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya, in Chandra Nandini opposite Avneet Kaur. From 2018 to 2021, he played the character Aladdin in Sony SAB’s Aladdin—Naam Toh Suna Hoga.
In 2021, he took on the role of Shivaay in Sony SAB’s Hero – Gayab Mode On, sharing the screen with his brother Abhishek Nigam. March 2022 marked Siddharth Nigam’s debut as a singer and lyricist with the release of Tum Mili. In April 2023, he was seen in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan alongside Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Siddharth Nigam, Jassi Gill, and Shehnaaz Kaur Gill.
