Career
Tejwani began his television career with roles in Ekta Kapoor’s serials like “Ghar Ek Mandir,” “Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii,” “Kaahin Kissii Roz,” and “Kutumb” alongside his wife, Gauri Pradhan. They also participated in Nach Baliye 2 in 2006 and returned to host Season 4 in 2008.
He replaced Cezanne Khan as Anurag Basu in “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” and played various small or supporting roles in shows like “Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family,” “Kitani Mohabbat Hai,” “Palampur Express,” “Chotti Bahu – Sindoor Bin Suhagan,” and “Rang Badalti Odhani.”
In 2011, he portrayed Vicky Oberoi in “Mukti Bandhan” and later became the lead actor in Ekta Kapoor’s “Pavitra Rishta,” for which he received nominations for several awards. He also made a cameo appearance in Kapoor’s “Kya Huaa Tera Vaada” as Jatin Chopra and appeared in the Sri Lankan series “Pooja.” Tejwani continued his television journey with roles in “Sanskaar – Dharohar Apno Ki” as Murli, “Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi” as Nitin Joshi, “Balika Vadhu” as Dr. Anant, and “Gangaa” as Niranjan Chaturvedi.
In 2017, he entered the reality show “Bigg Boss 11” as a celebrity contestant and survived for 11 weeks. He later appeared in shows like “Tantra” as Inspector Bharat Singh Rathore and “&TV’s Daayan” as Viraj Roy. He also participated in “Kitchen Champion 5” with his wife. Tejwani’s recent works include portraying Shiv Narayan Gupta in “Gupta Brothers” from 2020 to 2021 and playing Arjun Deol in “Swaran Ghar” since July 2022. He is set to play a professor in the upcoming film “Nobel Peace.”
