Career
Kishori Godbole began her acting career in 1997 with the Zee TV show Chutki Bajake. She played various characters in the StarPlus show Rin Ek Do Teen, where the series parodied popular Hindi movies. In 1999, she appeared in Hudd Kar Di on Zee TV, portraying the role of Shobha. Later, in 2004, Kishori was seen in the Zee Marathi show Adhuri Ek Kahani as Amruta Vijay Deodhar.
In the same year, she debuted in Bollywood with the film Kohram, playing the character Bharti. Subsequently, in 2002, she appeared in Ek Aur Visphot as Kiran Joshi. Her venture into Marathi cinema began in 2005 with Khabardaar, where she portrayed Tulsi. She continued with Marathi films like Majha Navra Tujhi Bayko (2006) as Naina Desai and Baba Lagin (2007).
In 2008, Kishori acted in the Marathi comedy Full 3 Dhamaal as Kishori Kulkarni. Her television journey expanded with roles in Ye Meri Life Hai (2004) on Sony TV as Prerna and Fu Bai Fu (2008) on Zee Marathi. She hosted Happy Housewives Club on Sony SAB in 2011 and starred in Mrs Tendulkar the same year as Mrs. Vibhavari Suhaas Tendulkar.
In 2011, she also appeared in One Room Kitchen as Neha, marking another significant role in Marathi cinema. Her television credits include Madhuri Middle Class (2013) as Mrs. Maya Amitabh Raje on Star Pravah, Khidki (2016) as Kalavati on Sony SAB, and Mere Sai-Shraddha Aur Saburi (2019) as Baija Maa on Sony TV.
Kishori Godbole’s presence extended to commercials where she featured in advertisements for popular brands such as Dabur Chyawanprash alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Coca-Cola alongside Aamir Khan, Moov, Ariel, Cadbury, and Johnson’s Baby Oil.
