Early Life
Amyra Dastur comes from a Parsi background, and her family converses in English and Gujarati at home. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai’s HR College.
Career
Amyra Dastur began her career as a model, primarily featuring in commercials. Her entry into Hindi cinema happened with Manish Tiwary’s romantic drama “Issaq,” where she starred alongside Prateik Babbar. Following this, she made her Tamil cinema debut with the film “Anegan,” directed by K. V. Anand, sharing the screen with actor Dhanush.
Venturing into international projects, Amyra played a role in “Kung Fu Yoga” alongside Jackie Chan, which premiered in India on 3 February 2017. She then appeared in director Akshat Verma’s film “Kaalakaandi,” starring Saif Ali Khan, where she shot for an upbeat dance number featuring fun lyrics, choreographed by Adil Malik.
Her entry into Telugu cinema took place with “Manasuku Nachindi,” the directorial debut of Mahesh Babu’s sister. In the same year, Amyra had her second Telugu release with “Rajugadu,” where she starred opposite Raj Tarun.
