Vidyut Jammwal marked his Bollywood debut in 2011 with the film “Force,” starring alongside John Abraham. The movie, a remake of the Tamil-language film “Kaakha Kaakha,” showcased Jammwal in a negative role, earning him multiple best debut awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

In the same year, Jammwal ventured into Telugu cinema, playing negative roles in “Shakti” and “Oosaravelli,” both featuring NTR. His negative roles earned him recognition.

In 2012, he made his debut in Tamil cinema with “Billa II,” portraying the antagonist opposite Ajith Kumar, receiving critical acclaim. The same year, Jammwal played the antagonist in the blockbuster “Thuppakki” alongside actor Vijay, earning a SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role.

Transitioning to Hindi cinema, Jammwal took on the role of a protagonist in the action-packed film “Commando” (2013), where he performed real-world combat-based action without the aid of stuntmen. In 2019, Jammwal featured in Chuck Russell’s Bollywood film “Junglee” and “Commando 3,” marking a return to the Commando series and becoming the most successful film in the franchise. He also starred in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s “Yaara,” an official remake of the French film “Les Lyonnais.”

In 2020, Jammwal appeared in the action thriller “Khuda Haafiz,” inspired by real-life events. The film became his biggest opener, and a sequel, “Khuda Haafiz Chapter II,” was announced. He also played the lead role in the movie “Sanak.”
