Career
She started her Bollywood journey with the film “Sssshhh…” alongside Karan Nath and Dino Morea, but it didn’t do well. Critics panned it for its weak screenplay and climax. Her next movie, “Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao,” also received negative reviews and flopped at the box office.
In 2005, she starred in “Neal ‘n’ Nikki” with Uday Chopra. Unfortunately, it too faced criticism and failed commercially. She also had a supporting role in “Sarkar,” which did well. Her luck didn’t change with “Tango Charlie” in the same year, another disappointment at the box office. After a break, she ventured into Tamil cinema with “Unnale Unnale” in 2007, which fared better, earning her praise and an award nomination.
In 2008, she appeared in “One Two Three,” which also didn’t do well financially. However, her return to the “Sarkar” franchise with “Sarkar Raj” was a success both critically and commercially. She made a comeback in 2013 by participating in the reality show “Bigg Boss 7” and finished as the first runner-up. Following that, she was a judge on “Gangs of Haseepur” and later joined “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7” where she was a finalist. She also competed in “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11,” finishing in 13th place.
