Career

Taha Shah was born in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. His parents, Shah Sikkander Badusha and Mahnaz Sikkander Badusha, hail from South India. His father is an orthopedic doctor, while his mother is an entrepreneur with a background in biochemistry.

Taha’s education took him to various countries. He attended the Sherwood Academy in Abu Dhabi and later moved to the Kodaikanal International School in Tamil Nadu, India. However, he eventually returned to the UAE, completing his schooling at the International School of Choueifat and Sharjah American International School. For his undergraduate studies, he briefly enrolled in a Business Administration program at the American University of Sharjah but dropped out after realizing it wasn’t his passion.

In 2006, Taha explored various business ventures while also pursuing modeling assignments on the side. However, his interest in acting led him to take up classes and hone his skills in Mumbai, where he met acting coach Naresh Panchal.

In 2010, Taha made his acting debut in the film “Luv Ka The End,” produced by Y-Films. He portrayed an antihero, marking a unique entry into the youth genre. His performance received positive reviews, paving the way for his subsequent projects.

He continued his journey in Bollywood with roles in films like “Gippi” (2013), “Barkhaa” (2015), and “Baar Baar Dekho” (2016). While some of these films didn’t fare well commercially, Taha garnered appreciation for his versatile performances.

Taha ventured into Hollywood with the film “Draupadi Unleashed” in 2020, marking his debut in the international film industry. He further expanded his portfolio with appearances in web series like “Bullets” (2021) and “Bekaboo 2” (2021).

In 2022, Taha explored his musical talents by releasing his single “Vande Mataram.” He continued to pursue acting with upcoming projects like “Ikroop,” “Kabza,” and “Mooh Mittha Karao.” Additionally, he appeared in web series such as “Taj: Divided by Blood” (2022) and “Heeramandi” (2024).
