Career

Before entering the world of movies, Pooja achieved success by winning the “Maharashtra Times Sharavan Queen” beauty pageant in 2008. She kickstarted her career in the Marathi film industry with the popular movie Kshanbhar Vishranti, which became a favorite among film enthusiasts. In 2011, she starred in Zhakaas alongside Ankush Choudhary, and the film turned out to be a massive hit. Pooja also featured in the multistarrer Satrangi Re.

In 2014, she played a key role in the successful satire film Poshter Boyz, sharing the screen with Aniket Vishwasrao. In 2019, she was seen in Junglee alongside Vidyut Jamwal, Asha Bhat and Atul Kulkarni.

In March 2020, Pooja starred in Bali, a horror film directed by Vishal Furia, who also directed her in the 2017 film Lapachhapi. She was also seen in Daagdi Chawl 2, alongside Ankush Chaudhari, and Luv U Mitra, where she stars opposite Gashmeer Mahajani.
