Kamya Punjabi embarked on her acting career in 2001 with the television series “Ssshhhh…Koi Hai”, where she portrayed the character Nisha. She further solidified her presence in the television industry with roles in popular shows like “Kehta Hai Dil”, “Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr”, “Piya Ka Ghar”, “Kammal”, and “Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani” between 2002 and 2006.
In 2006, Punjabi gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Sindoora Pratap Singh in the long-running series “Banoo Main Teri Dulhann”, a role that earned her immense acclaim. She continued to grace the small screen with appearances in shows like “Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki”, “Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?”, “Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi”, and “Do Dil Ek Jaan” in the subsequent years.
