Hina Khan was born on October 2, 1987, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. She spent most of her childhood in Delhi and finished her schooling there. Later, she pursued an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree in 2009 from the well-known CCA School of Management in Gurgaon.

Hina grew up in a middle-class Kashmiri Muslim family with her parents, Aslam Khan and Shagufta Shaikh, along with her younger brother Aamir Khan, who owns a travel agency company.

After finishing her studies, Hina Khan began her career as a model, taking on various modeling assignments. In 2009, she tried out for the TV series “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” and landed the lead role of Akshara Singhania. The show became a massive hit, making Hina widely popular. After spending seven years on the show, she decided to explore new opportunities and left in November 2016.

Before her role in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” Hina auditioned for Sony TV’s singing reality show Indian Idol in 2008, making it to the top 30.
