Career
She began her acting journey in 2004 with the Telugu movie Love Today, starring alongside Uday Kiran. Shortly after, she made her Bollywood debut in Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo alongside Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol. Critics noted her decent performance in a few scenes.
After her initial stint in acting, she shifted her focus to directing. She honed her skills by completing courses in cinematography and editing. Kumar directed several music videos for artists like Agam Kumar Nigam, Jermaine Jackson, and Tulsi Kumar, along with some ad films.
She made her directorial debut with Yaariyan in 2014, despite receiving mixed reviews, the film was a commercial success. Kumar also choreographed several songs for the movie. Her second directorial venture was Sanam Re in 2016. Additionally, she has co-produced numerous films with T-Series.
In 2017, she returned to acting with the short film Bulbul. Then, in 2021, she appeared alongside John Abraham in Satyameva Jayate 2, where her performance was noted despite the film receiving negative reviews. In 2023, She was seen in Yaariyan 2, a remake of the Malayalam film Bangalore Days and a sequel to her earlier film Yaariyan.
