Career

Armaan Malik, a talented singer, began his musical journey at the age of four. His early exposure to music paved the way for his participation in the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in 2006, where he finished 8th. Having learned Indian classical music for a decade, Malik made his Bollywood debut as a child singer in 2007 with the song “Bum Bum Bole” in the film Taare Zameen Par, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

In subsequent years, Malik ventured into playback singing, making notable contributions to the Hindi film industry. He sang for various films, including Jai Ho, Khoobsurat, and Ungli. In 2014, he released his debut album titled Armaan, showcasing his versatility as a singer.

Over the years, Malik delivered hit songs for movies like Hero, Hate Story 3, and Baaghi, earning accolades such as the Filmfare R. D. Burman Award for New Music Talent in 2015. He continued to impress with his soulful renditions and collaborations, including the song “Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon.”

In 2019, Malik further solidified his position in the industry by lending his voice to popular tracks in films like Amavas, Why Cheat India, and Badla. He also made his mark as a coach on the Indian version of the reality show The Voice.

Malik expanded his horizons by venturing into international music. In 2020, he signed with Arista Records and released his first English-language single, “Control,” followed by “How Many.” These songs showcased his talent on a global platform, earning him recognition at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
