Controversy

In February 2023, Rakhi Sawant, the wife of Adil Khan, filed a complaint against him at the Oshiwara police station. She claimed that Adil mishandled her money during her time in the Bigg Boss Marathi house. Rakhi also accused Adil of being responsible for her mother’s death, alleging that he didn’t provide timely financial support for her mother’s surgery, leading to the unfortunate outcome.

Additionally, Rakhi accused Adil of having an extramarital affair with someone named Tanu Chandel. Following the complaint, there were reports of Adil being arrested by the Oshiwara police, but later, it was revealed that he was called in for questioning. Surprisingly, the couple was seen dining together at a Mumbai restaurant after the incident.

Another serious incident unfolded on February 13, 2023, when Adil faced accusations of rape, cheating, threats, and blackmail in Mysuru. The FIR was filed by an Iranian student who had come to Mysuru for studies. The police charged Adil under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 406, 420, 498 (A), and 377, based on the student’s claim that Adil had raped her under the pretext of marriage.

Adil, in response to these allegations, revealed in an interview that Rakhi Sawant had allegedly paid Rs. 3 lakhs to the girl. Adil insisted that the girl was not only a close friend but also acquainted with Rakhi.
