She attended Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai, for her schooling and later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Ethiraj College for Women in Chennai.

Initially aspiring to become a criminal psychologist, Trisha entered the world of modeling and appeared in various print and television commercials.
