Career

Tania Raymonde began her acting career with a television role as Alice/Young Syd in an episode of the series Providence called “Syd in Wonderland.” Following this, she appeared in various TV series such as The Brothers Garcia, The Nightmare Room, That’s So Raven, and NCIS.

Her first feature film role came in 2002 with Children on Their Birthdays. In 2003, she played Lauren O’Keefe in the sitcom The O’Keefes. Raymonde gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Alex Rousseau in the ABC drama Lost, where she portrayed the adopted daughter of Benjamin Linus, played by Michael Emerson.

Throughout the mid-2000s, she appeared in several films including The Garage (2006), The Other Side of the Tracks (2008), Japan (2008), Chasing 3000 (2008), and Elsewhere (2009). She also had recurring roles in the Starz series Crash and season 6 of Cold Case.

At the age of 17, Raymonde wrote, edited, and directed the short film Cell Division, which was showcased in film festivals across the country. She made an appearance in the music video for Maroon 5’s “Won’t Go Home Without You.”

In 2013, Raymonde appeared in two episodes of the NBC series Chicago Fire, which served as a backdoor pilot for the spin-off series Chicago P.D. She also portrayed convicted murderer Jodi Arias in the Lifetime original movie Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret the same year. From 2016 to 2021, she starred in the Amazon series Goliath, alongside Billy Bob Thornton.
