Career
His acting career began in 1980 with the film “The Naxalites,” where he starred alongside Smita Patil. He continued his journey in cinema with roles in movies like “Phir Aayi Barsaat” in 1985, alongside Anuradha Patel.
In 1990, he took on the significant role of 2nd Lieutenant Rama Raghoba Rane in the TV series “Param Vir Chakra.” A notable moment in his career came with the 1991 musical “Baharon Ke Manzil,” where he played a major role.
In 1995, he appeared in the film “Janam Kundli,” portraying the character of Ashwani Mehra, Vinod Khanna’s son. Later, in 2017, he featured in the Hindi film “A Daughter’s Tale Pankh.”
Reflecting on his career in a 2020 interview with Dainik Bhaskar, he expressed his interest in reprising a role from “Ramayana” if given the opportunity, specifically mentioning a desire to portray the character of Ravana.
