Subi started her career in August 1993 as an anchor for the popular show Cinemala, which made her well-known among the Malayali audience. She later became a member of the Cochin Kalabhavan troupe and became the face of several comedy shows, a remarkable feat considering the rarity of women’s participation in mimicry at that time.
In 2001, Subi entered the Malayalam film industry with the movie Aparannar Nagarathil, directed by Nisar. This marked her debut in acting, leading to appearances in over twenty films, including Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Panchavarna Tatta, Happy Husbands, and Drama.
Throughout her career, Subi made notable appearances in various television series, showcasing her comedic talents. She participated in shows like Thaksara Lahala and Kuttipattalam, and also served as an anchor and comedian in numerous Malayalam TV programs.
Subi’s versatility extended to music videos as well. In 2008, she starred in the music video for the song “Dunalli,” sung by Mika Singh.
