Career
Sonia Kapoor began her acting career in the Malayalam film “Ishtamanu Nooruvattom” in 1996, where she portrayed the character Geethu Narendran. She then made her Hindi film debut in 2001 with the movie “Officer,” playing the role of Pratap Rai’s servant. Over the years, Sonia has appeared in several Hindi films, including “Fareb” in 2005, “Don Muthu Swami” in 2008, “Teraa Surroor” in 2016, where she also contributed as a costume designer and stylist, and “Happy Hardy and Heer” in 2020, where she again took on the roles of costume designer and stylist.
In addition to her film work, Sonia has had a significant presence on television. From 1993 to 1997, she played the character Subhadra in the Hindi mythological TV series “Shri Krishna,” which aired on DD National.
