Shruti Marathe made her film debut in 2008 with the Marathi film “Sanai Choughade” where she portrayed the character Ashwini. The following year, she ventured into Tamil cinema with “Indira Vizha,” credited as Hema Malini. In the same year, she appeared in “Naan Avanillai 2” and “Asa Mi Tasa Mi” in Marathi.

In 2010, Marathe starred in the Tamil film “Guru Sishyan” and continued her Marathi film journey with “Teecha Baap Tyacha Baap.” In 2012, she made a special appearance in the Tamil film “Aravaan” and starred in “Satya, Savitree Ani Satyawan” in Marathi.

Marathe’s notable roles include Parvtibai Peshwe in “Rama Madhav” (2014) and Gita in “Budhia Singh – Born to Run” (2016). Critics praised her performances in both films for portraying complex emotions with finesse.

Throughout her career, Marathe has appeared in various Marathi and Hindi television series, including “Peshwai” (2003), “Radha Hi Bawari” (2012-2014), “Jaago Mohan Pyare” (2017-2018), and “Rudrakaal” (2021).
