Chaddha’s journey in the entertainment industry traces back to her upbringing in Delhi, where her passion for theatre blossomed. She honed her skills by attending theatre workshops while pursuing her major in English literature from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi. Notably, she shared her college years with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.

Her career kicked off with diverse roles in both films and television. She portrayed character roles in notable films such as “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” (1999), “Parzania” (2007), “Delhi 6” (2009), “Luck by Chance” (2009), and “Talaash” (2012). Chaddha’s versatility extended to television, where she made her mark with appearances in series like “Love Marriage” (2002) and “Kasturi” (2007).

In 2011, she ventured into the realm of short films with “Prakata Het Yad,” earning recognition as the film won the Audience Choice award at the River to River Florence Indian Film Festival. She further solidified her presence in the industry with her role in “Talaash: The Answer Lies Within” (2012) as Nirmala, a sex worker, and her quirky portrayal of Nain Tara Tiwary (Buaji) in “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” (2015).
