Early Life

Kher was born in either 1992 or 1993 in Nashik, Maharashtra, to Adwait Kher and Uttara Mhatre Kher, who was a former Miss India. She comes from a family with a strong background in the entertainment industry, being the granddaughter of actress Usha Kiran and the niece of actress Tanvi Azmi.

Kher completed her graduation from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. Her father, Adwait Kher, was a well-known supermodel, while her older sister, Sanskruti Kher, is also a celebrated Marathi actress.

Career

Kher started her acting journey in 2015 with her debut in the Telugu film “Rey.” Following this, she appeared in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s Hindi film “Mirzya” in 2016, alongside Harshvardhan Kapoor. In 2020, Kher ventured into the digital space with Mayank Sharma’s web series “Breathe,” where she starred alongside Abhishek Bachchan.

The following year, in 2021, she showcased her acting skills in the action film “Wild Dog,” where she played the role of an NIA agent alongside Nagarjuna. In 2023, Sayami was featured in R Balki’s film “Ghoomer,” marking another milestone in her acting career.
