Career

Kapoor started his onscreen journey with the television serial “Nyaay” in 1997. Over the next few years, he appeared in three more shows: “Heena” (1998), “Sangharsh” (1999), and “Kavita” (2000).

In 2000, Kapoor acted in the popular family drama “Ghar Ek Mandir.” He also worked with Amir Raza Hussein in the play “The Fifty Days of War – Kargil,” paying tribute to the heroes of the Kargil War by portraying five characters.

The following year, in 2001, Kapoor appeared in “Rishtey” and the serial “Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai.” He also made a cameo appearance in Mira Nair’s acclaimed film “Monsoon Wedding.”

His film career began with roles in “Dhadkan” (2003) and “Awaz – Dil Se Dil Tak,” followed by “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi” and “Bali” (2004). In 2005, Kapoor appeared in films like “Devaki,” “Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow,” and “Missed Call.”

The year 2006 saw Kapoor starring in the show “Kasamh Se” in the role of Jai Udai Walia. He continued his television journey with appearances in the soap opera “Basera” and participation in reality shows like “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” as a contestant and “Rakhi Ka Swayamwar” as the host.
