Career
Khanna began her acting career with the daily soap opera “Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi” on NDTV Imagine, where she played the role of Ragini Sharma. In 2009, she appeared in Sony TV’s comedy show “Bhaskar Bharti.” Khanna also made a guest appearance in an episode of “10 Ka Dum,” where she won 1,000,000 rupees and donated the money to charity. Additionally, she appeared as a guest on Imagine TV’s reality show “Big Money: Chota Parda Bada Game.”
In March 2010, Khanna joined the cast of Star Plus’s show “Sasural Genda Phool,” portraying Suhana Kashyap, an arrogant yet kind-hearted woman who marries into a middle-class joint family. The show concluded on 21 April 2012. Her performance as Suhana earned her several awards, including the BIG Star Most Entertaining Television Actor – Female. She also appeared in a special episode of “Kaun Banega Crorepati 4.”
In December 2010, Khanna participated in the 4th season of “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” and was eliminated on 14 February 2011, finishing in 9th position. In 2011, she took part in the celebrity singing reality show “Star Ya Rockstar” on Zee TV. In 2011, Khanna made her Hindi film debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s comedy film “Teen They Bhai.” In 2013, she appeared in the Punjabi film “Bhaji in Problem,” which performed well at the box office. Khanna later starred opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Pushpendra Mishra’s comedy film “Ghoomketu,” which was released on the ZEE5 platform on 22 May 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
