Career

Mukul Dev began his acting career in 1996 with a role in the TV serial “Mumkin” where he portrayed the character of Vijay Pandey. He also appeared in Doordarshan’s comedy Bollywood countdown show called “Ek Se Badh Kar Ek.”

In the same year, Dev made his film debut in “Dastak” playing the role of ACP Rohit Malhotra. This film also marked the debut of Sushmita Sen, who later became Miss Universe.

Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Dev appeared in several films including “Qila” (1998), “Wajood” (1998), “Kohram” (1999), and “Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachaao” (2001).

In the 2000s, Dev expanded his presence on television by acting in serials such as “Kahin Diyaa Jale Kahin Jiyaa” (2001) and “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii” (2003). He also participated in the dance competition show “Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar” in 2008.

In more recent years, Mukul Dev has taken on supporting roles in various films, including “Yamla Pagla Deewana” (2011), “Son of Sardaar” (2012), “R… Rajkumar” (2013), and “Jai Ho” (2014). Dev served as the host of Fear Factor India Season 1.
