Career
Mayuri began her formal acting career with her debut in the Marathi film “Dr. Prakash Baba Amte – The Real Hero” in 2014. The following year, she worked in the play “June July” and in 2016, she was part of another play titled “Pleasant Surprise.”
She gained widespread recognition across Maharashtra with her role as Manasi Deshpande in the popular Marathi television show “Khulta Kali Khulena,” which aired on Zee Marathi from 2016 to 2017. Her portrayal of the lead character endeared her to audiences.
In 2018, Mayuri starred as Mugdha in the film “31 Divas,” a role that was well-received by viewers across Maharashtra. That same year, she ventured into writing and played the character Shanu aka Shanaya in her first written play “Dear Aajo,” earning considerable appreciation for her performance. Additionally, she played Charu aka Charusheela in the play “Teesre Badshah Hum.”
Mayuri also appeared in the films “Grey” and “Lagna Kallol,” both of which were set to be released soon after 2018. From 2020 to 2022, she portrayed Prof. Malini Chaturvedi in the Hindi television series “Imlie,” acting alongside Gashmeer Mahajani, Sumbul Touqeer, and Fahmaan Khan.
