Career

In the late 1980s, Loveleen became famous for playing Chutki in the popular TV show “Hum Log” from 1984 to 1985. She portrayed the character Preeti and contributed to 156 episodes of the show.

Loveleen started her film journey with “Vakil Babu” in 1982, where she played Miss Usha Rajvansh. Later on, she showcased her acting skills in films like “City of Joy” (1992), “Sardar” (1993), and “Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa” (1998).

During the late ’90s, Loveleen worked on various projects, including the TV series “Star Bestsellers” (1999) and films like “Godmother” (1999), “Split Wide Open” (1999), and “Last Train to Mahakali” (1999). In “Godmother,” she played the character Ramde’s Wife and was credited as Luvleen Mishra.

Loveleen’s journey in the entertainment industry continued with notable roles in films such as “Black Friday” (2004), “Yuva” (2004), and “Bareilly Ki Barfi” (2017) opposite Pankaj Tripathi, Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao & Ayushmann Khurrana, showcasing her versatility in different genres and characters. Aside from acting, Loveleen Mishra also explored writing, contributing as a dialogue writer for the film “Aamras: The Sweet Taste of Friendship” (2009).
