Career

Bhatia began her journey in the Hindi television industry back in 1995 with the show “Challenge,” where she portrayed Khushnuma. Following this, she appeared as Kumud in the sitcom “Tu Tu Main Main” on Star Plus. She then collaborated with producer Ekta Kapoor for the first time in “Kanyadaan” and had a small role in “Itihaas.”

Moving into the new century and decade, Bhatia played the role of Arun Govil’s character’s wife in “Kaise Kahoon” on Zee TV. She continued her collaboration with Kapoor in projects like the comedy-drama “Kitne Kool Hai Hum” and Sony TV’s “Kutumb,” where she portrayed Kavita Mittal. Her notable role during this time was as Geetu Basu in the popular daily soap “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” from 2003 to 2006.

In 2003, she appeared as Bindiya in “Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin” on Sony TV. Her other television ventures included roles like Titli in “Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka” and Mishti in “Mamta” on Zee TV.

Bhatia made her film debut in 2007 with the drama “68 Pages,” directed by Sridhar Rangayan, where she played the character Payal, a commercial sex worker. In 2020, she starred in the web series “Tansener Tanpura” on Hoichoi and portrayed Nutan Jaiswal in Star Plus’s “Lockdown Ki Love Story.” She continued her digital presence in the second season of “Girls Hostel” on SonyLIV. Bhatia reprised her role in the sequel “Sasural Simar Ka 2” as Geetanjali Gopichand Oswal, which aired on Colors TV and Voot from April 2021 to April 2023.
