Dino James grew up in a regular family, and his dad, Mr. Jimmy James, always wanted him to be an engineer and focus only on studies. Dino followed his father’s wishes and focused on his studies.

However, Dino had a different dream – he wanted to be an actor. In 2002, full of dreams, he moved to Mumbai. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find acting opportunities for two years. Eventually, he landed a job in an advertisement company, where he worked on short ads.

Despite his efforts, acting gigs didn’t come his way. He then started working as an assistant for Pradeep Sarkar. One day, while sitting in a Mumbai park, he saw someone playing the guitar. Inspired, he decided to pursue a career in music. Dino began learning music and writing lyrics, creating his first song, “Girlfriend.”

Despite discouragement from friends and family who believed he couldn’t become an actor, Dino persisted. He returned to Bhopal and worked with his father for a while. When he felt ready, he asked his father for another chance and returned to Mumbai to pursue his dream.
