Career
Danish Sait began his career as a radio jockey for Supari on Fever 104 FM in 2013, where he became known for making prank calls and performing a variety of fictional roles such as Asgar, Chacko, Nagesh, and Nagraj. In addition to his radio work, Danish is a stand-up comedian and a member of the Bengaluru-based comedy group The Improv.
Starting in 2014, he expanded his career by hosting several sports shows, including the Pro Kabaddi League and the Cricket World Cup in 2015. He also hosted the reality television show Neevu Bhale Khiladi on Star Suvarna. Danish made his film debut in 2018 with the Kannada movie “Humble Politician Nograj,” in which he played the titular character. He co-wrote the film with director Saad Khan, and the movie received positive reviews, with critics praising his performance and his ability to engage the audience.
In 2020, Danish starred in the Hindi-language web series “Afsos” as a tourist in Mumbai. The same year, he appeared in the comedy film “French Biriyani” as an auto driver alongside Sal Yusuf, a colleague from The Improv. In this film, he reprised the role of Asgar, one of his popular characters from his prank calls. Danish also starred in the film “777 Charlie” alongside Rakshit Shetty.
Additionally, Danish has worked with the Bengaluru-based team Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League as an anchor and mascot. He is well-known for his role as Mr. Nags on the RCB Insider Show.
