Career

Patel began his journey in the film industry as an assistant director, collaborating with Vikram Bhatt on various projects like “Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage” (2002), “Awara Paagal Deewana” (2002), “Raaz” (2002), and “Footpath” (2003). His acting debut came with the film “Inteha,” directed by Vikram Bhatt.

In 2004, Patel gained recognition for his role in the thriller “Murder,” alongside Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi, which became his first commercial success. The following year, he starred in Soni Razdan’s “Nazar” and Khalid Mohammed’s “Silsiilay,” although both films failed to perform well at the box office.

In 2006, Patel appeared in leading roles in “Dil Diya Hai,” “Banaras,” and “Fight Club.” The comedy film “Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana” followed in 2007, where he starred alongside Mahima Chaudhary and Rekha. His next film, “Toss,” was released in 2009.

Patel also ventured into television, participating as a finalist in the fourth season of the reality show “Bigg Boss.” He later hosted shows like “Superstud” and “Superdude” on UTV Bindass. His digital debut is set to be in Ullu App’s web-series titled “Peshawar,” where he will portray the role of terrorist Abu Shamil, mastermind behind the 2014 Peshawar school massacre. Throughout his career, Patel has showcased his versatility through various roles in films and television shows.
