Rana is a prominent figure in the Indian entertainment industry, known for his versatile performances across television and film. He began his career with appearances in various television serials such as “Swabhimaan,” “Farz,” “Sazish,” “Jax Kabhi,” and “Waris.” He also hosted the TV show “Baazi Kiski” and the reality show “Sarkaar Ki Duniya.”

In 2010, Rana made his mark on the small screen with the Star Plus show “Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha,” portraying the negative character Thakral.

Moving onto the big screen, Rana garnered recognition for his portrayal of a cold-blooded psychopathic killer in the film “Dushman” in 1998. He continued to excel in negative and supporting roles, earning two Filmfare Awards for Best Villain for his performances in “Dushman” and “Sangharsh.”
