Early Life

Zareen Khan was born on 14 May 1987 in Mumbai, India, to a Pathan family. She finished her intermediate education at Rizvi College of Science in Mumbai. Zareen initially worked at a call center and later at a front desk in the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC). She also promoted different brands and worked as an in-house model for them.

Career

Zareen Khan’s journey in acting began when she visited the set of Yuvvraaj at Subhash Ghai’s film school, Whistling Woods. Salman Khan noticed her and chose her for the film Veer, directed by Anil Sharma. Salman believed she perfectly fit the role of Princess Yashodhara. Despite the film not performing well at the box office, Zareen received mixed reviews for her performance.

In 2011, she featured in the item number “Character Dheela” with Salman Khan in the movie Ready, which turned out to be the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2011. Zareen also showcased her modeling skills as the showstopper for the jewelry brand YS18 at India International Jewellery Week in 2012.

Her next film was Housefull 2, a comedy directed by Sajid Khan. Zareen played the role of JLo, a model, and received praise for her performance. The film ranked among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2012.

In 2013, Zareen made her Tamil debut in Naan Rajavaga Pogiren, featuring in the song “Malgove,” which received appreciation for its energy. From 2014 onwards, Zareen shifted to leading roles.
