Career

Yumna Zaidi made her screen debut in 2012 with a supporting role in the drama series “Thakan” on ARY Digital. Following this, she took on leading roles in dramas like “Khushi Ek Roag” and “Teri Raah Main Rul Gai” on Urdu 1.

In the subsequent years, Zaidi gained recognition for her emotionally charged performances in dramas such as “Meri Dulari” (2013) on Geo TV and “Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi” (2013) on Hum TV. Her role in “Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se” (2013) on Hum TV earned her critical acclaim and nominations for Best Actress awards.

She continued to impress audiences with her versatile acting in dramas like “Mausam” (2014), “Madawa” (2015), “Guzaarish” (2015), “Jugnoo” (2015), “Kaanch Ki Guriya” (2015), “Paras” (2015), and “Aap ki Kaneez” (2015).

In 2016, Zaidi played the lead role in “Zara Yaad Kar” on Hum TV. She also appeared in “Yeh Raha Dil” in 2017, where her chemistry with co-star Ahmed Ali was praised. In the same year, she portrayed a victim of sexual harassment in “Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila,” which received positive reviews for her performance.

In subsequent years, Zaidi appeared in various dramas including “Pukaar” (2018–19), “Dil Kiya Karey” (2018–19), “Inkaar” (2019), “Choti Choti Batain” (2019), “Ishq Zahe Naseeb” (2019), and “Shaadi Impossible” (2019).
