Vaani Kapoor entered the world of Hindi films by signing a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films. She got her start with a supporting role in the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. The film, exploring live-in relationships, received positive reviews. Critics praised Vaani’s portrayal of the outspoken character Tara. Shuddh Desi Romance became a commercial success.

Vaani attended Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, North West Delhi, for her schooling. Later, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in tourism studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University at Maidan Garhi.

Following her studies, Vaani did an internship with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and later worked for ITC Hotel. She also ventured into modeling and was signed by Elite Model Management for various projects.
