Career
Subhashree Rayaguru began her career in modeling during her college days, working for numerous clothing brands such as Aanchal Dey Couture and Neerus India. In 2020, she participated in the beauty pageant VLCC Femina Miss India Odisha and emerged as the winner. She has been featured in TV advertisements for brands like Azar, Chicnutrix, and Sephora, and has walked the ramp for various fashion shows, including serving as a showstopper for the Hi Life Brides Expo in 2021. Subhashree has also appeared as a jury member for the Mr. & Miss So Star 8 Auditions in 2021 and endorsed health, skincare, and beauty brands such as Positive Global, Kapiva, Spruce Shave Club, and Prolixr on her Instagram account.
As an anchor, Subhashree has hosted more than 3000 live shows and worked as an official anchor for Glam Shades in collaboration with Amazon Brand. She has also been an anchor at Blackmilk Media, an advertising agency in Mumbai. In 2022, she made her acting debut in the Telugu film Rudraveena and later that year, her Tamil film debut with the film Devil. She continued her acting career with roles in Telugu films like Katha Venuka Katha (2023), Amigos (2023), and Snadeham (2023). Additionally, she played small roles in the Telugu film Aa (2016) and the Tamil film Utraan (2019), as well as in a few TV serials, although she did not gain much recognition from them.
Subhashree enrolled with the Bar Council of Telangana in 2021 and started practicing at the High Court of Judicature in Hyderabad on July 29, 2021. In 2016, she worked as an assistant director for the Hindi film Mastizaade. The following year, she created her YouTube channel, Subu The Explorer, where she uploads her acting and audition videos. In 2023, she joined the reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu 7 as a contestant, making her entry with a dance performance on the songs “Lawyer Papa” and “Sammohanuda.” The show aired on Star Maa and also streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
