Career

In 2011, Bolla co-founded the Samanvai Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities. The center focuses on providing educational, vocational, financial, and rehabilitation services to students with multiple disabilities, aiming for their economic independence and self-sustainability. As part of this initiative, Bolla initiated a Braille printing press.

The following year, in 2012, Bolla launched Bollant Industries. This venture manufactures areca-based products and offers employment opportunities to hundreds of people with disabilities. With funding from Ratan Tata, Bollant Industries addresses employment, economic, and environmental issues.

The company produces eco-friendly recycled Kraft paper, packaging products, and disposable items from natural leaves and recycled paper. Additionally, it recycles waste plastic into usable products. Bollant Industries has experienced significant growth since its inception, averaging a 20% increase in monthly growth and achieving a turnover of ₹150 crore in 2018.

Srikanth serves as the director of the Surge Impact Foundation, which he founded in September 2016. The foundation’s goal is to empower individuals and institutions in India to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

In April 2017, Forbes magazine recognized Bolla’s contributions by naming him one of the 30 under 30 across all of Asia, making him one of only three Indians to receive this honor.
