Shilpa Shinde started her television career in 1999, gaining recognition for her role in the serial “Bhabhi.” She subsequently appeared in “Sanjeevani” and played the lead role in “Amrapali” in 2002. Continuing her streak, she featured in another show called “Miss India” the same year. In January 2004, Shilpa portrayed the parallel lead character Meher in DD National’s series “Meher – Kahani Haq Aur Haqeeqat Ki.”

In 2006, she acted in “Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi” and “Waaris” as Gayatri.
