Sanjeeda began her television career in 2005 with the role of Nimmo in the series Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. Following this, she portrayed a vamp character in the 2007 series Kayamath on Star Plus. The same year, she and her husband Aamir Ali participated in the dancing competition show Nach Baliye 3, ultimately winning the competition.

In 2008, she starred opposite Aamir Ali again in the serial Kya Dill Main Hai, which aired on the 9X channel. In 2014, Sanjeeda gained recognition for her role as Durga Thakur in Ek Hasina Thi.
