Career

In 2011, Sajal Aly made her on-screen debut with a recurring role in Geo Entertainment’s sitcom “Nadaaniyaan.” This was followed by leading roles in several soap operas, including “Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain,” “Ahmed Habib Ki Betiyan,” and supporting roles in “Mastana Mahi” and “Meray Qatil Meray Dildar,” for which she received a nomination for Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress.

In 2012, Aly played the titular role in Express Entertainment’s “Chandni” and received praise for her portrayal of a young outspoken college student in “Mohabbat Jaye Bhar Mein.” She appeared in various other dramas like “Meri Ladli,” “Sitamgar,” and “Mere Khuwabon Ka Diya.”
