Career

Bhowmik embarked on his acting journey at the tender age of 9, captivating audiences through live stage performances and plays. Over time, he accumulated experience, participating in 17 plays such as “Charlie And The Tin Can,” and featuring in 6 short films, including “Sleep,” “That’s How It Started,” and “Gamble of Flesh.”

Transitioning into the digital realm, Bhowmik joined the Bridging Gaps Entertainment production house. In 2017, he marked his digital debut with a role in the TVF web series “Office VS Office.”

In 2019, Bhowmik ventured into the world of cinema, landing his first lead role in the Bengali drama film “Dhuusar,” portraying the character of Shiladitya Guha. His versatility extended to the small screen as well, as he appeared in a Netflix show titled “Gabru” and featured in various videos of FilterCopy Talkies.

The year 2020 brought Bhowmik into the spotlight with his role in the music-based web series “Bandish Bandits,” where he portrayed the lead character Radhemohan “Radhe” Rathod Jr. alongside Shreya Chaudhary. This role garnered him significant acclaim.

Expanding his repertoire, Bhowmik featured in an Amazon Prime Video anthology series titled “Modern Love Mumbai” in 2022, sharing the screen with Masaba Gupta. Later in the same year, he starred in another Amazon Prime Video project, “Maja Ma,” alongside Barkha Singh.
