Career
Ritu Shivpuri made her Bollywood debut in 1993 with the film ‘Aankhen,’ where she played the role of Ritu. Following her promising start, she continued to impress with her roles in the films ‘Rock Dancer’ in 1995 and ‘Aar Ya Paar’ in 1997. In the same year, Ritu expanded her acting repertoire by appearing in the Telugu-language film ‘Dongaata,’ and two years later, in 1999, she featured in the Kannada-language film ‘Z.’
In 2006, Ritu ventured into Punjabi cinema with the film ‘Ek Jind Ek Jaan.’ Her career then took a turn towards television when she made her debut in the series ’24: India’ in 2016, portraying the character of Doctor Sunny across 13 episodes. In 2017, she played the role of Indrani Narayan Vashishth in the television serial ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Do 3.’ Most recently, in 2023, Ritu Shivpuri appeared in the Netflix series ‘Class.’
