Career

In 2003, Raja made his Bollywood debut in the film ‘Market,’ portraying the character of Appa Rao. He continued his film journey with cameo appearances in Hindi movies such as ‘Black Friday’ (2011), ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’ (2012), ‘Meridian Lines’ (2013), and ‘Rasik Balma’ (2018). In 2020, Raja appeared in the Chhattisgarh film ‘Dabang Daroga.’

On television, Raja has taken on both acting and contestant roles. He acted in Hindi TV serials like ‘Chandramukhi’ (2007; DD National), ‘Kahani Chandrakanta Ki’ (2012; Sahara One), ‘Adaalat’ (2012; Sony), and ‘Tenali Rama’ (2018; Sony SAB).

As a contestant, Raja participated in various Hindi reality TV shows including ‘Nach Baliye 2’ (2007; Star Plus), ‘Bigg Boss Season 2’ (2008; Colors), ‘Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout’ (2011; Imagine TV), and ‘Love Lock-up’ (2011; UTV Bindass). Controversy

Raja Chaudhary has faced several controversies over the years. In the past, his ex-wife Shweta Tiwari accused him of domestic violence, leading to their divorce. Raja alleged that Shweta had an affair with her co-actor Cezanne Khan. Later, both his girlfriend Shradha Sharma and his second wife Shveta Sood also accused him of domestic violence.

In 2013, Raja was involved in a dispute with producer and performer Surbhi Chatterjee at a party. The altercation escalated when Raja learned that Surbhi had named her dog after him, which angered him. Feeling disrespected, Raja left the party abruptly and sought refuge at a nearby coffee shop. He later expressed his frustration in an interview, stating that Surbhi used his name for attention and created unnecessary drama.

In 2018, Raja faced legal trouble when he was arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police in Kanpur after getting into a drunken altercation with a group of people. The police registered a case against him and sent him for a medical examination. These incidents have added to Raja Chaudhary’s controversial public image, overshadowing his professional career.
