Career

Radhika Madan, originally from Delhi, began her acting career with the television series “Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi” on Colors TV. She portrayed the lead character Ishaani Vaghela opposite Shakti Arora, gaining widespread popularity. The show aired over 400 episodes from June 2014 to February 2016, becoming a hit on Colors TV.

While working on “Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi,” Madan also participated in Colors TV’s dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8” in 2015. In 2017, she ventured into Indonesian television with the series “Cinta di Pangkuan Himalaya,” alongside Shakti Arora.

In 2018, Madan transitioned from television to feature films, making her debut in Vishal Bhardwaj’s drama “Pataakha” alongside Sanya Malhotra. The film, based on the short story “Do Behnen” by Charan Singh Pathik, received praise for Madan’s performance. She underwent extensive preparation for her role, including learning the Rajasthani dialect and gaining weight.

The following year, Madan appeared in Vasan Bala’s action comedy “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota,” where she performed her stunts and garnered positive reviews for her portrayal of Supri. She continued to showcase her versatility in Homi Adajania’s “Angrezi Medium” in 2020, starring alongside Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
